T-BALL DIVISION
(5 - 6 yr. olds)
(Oceanside american )
The T-Ball division is open to 5 year olds who MUST be in Kindergarten and to any 6 year old who has NOT played T-Ball before.
(BIRTH CERTIFICATES ARE REQUIRED)
Safety balls are used in this division. It is a continuous batting order and each team bats around each inning. Defensively, all players are rotated. Players hit the ball off of a Tee and games are about an hour and a half long. Teams do not keep score. All runners stay on base whether safe or out and run the bases. The last few games of the season are usually coach pitch to those who wish. All games are usually played at School #8 which has a dedicated T-Ball field located by the basketball courts. Typically there are 2 games scheduled each week, one on Sunday and one during the week. Requests can be made to be on teams with other players or coaches, and typically requests are honored,
BUT
depending on the number of players per team, they may not be. But we will do our best to make your child's first baseball experience an enjoyable one!
This division is ALL about having fun and developing a love for the game of baseball in EVERY player!

"A" DIVISION (6 - 7 yr. olds)
(Oceanside american - island park)
The "A" division is for 6 and 7 yr. olds who have already played T-Ball or new 7 yr. olds. Safety balls are used in this division. This is a coach pitch division. It is a continuous batting order and outs are recorded. Games will have 1 OALL umpire to make out/safe calls. Games are limited to 2 hours. Teams do NOT keep score. Defensively, players MUST be rotated. The last few games of the season usually have the kids pitch. Most games are played at School #8, Shell Creek Park or School #2. Typically there are 2 games scheduled each week. Requests can be made to be on teams with other players or coaches, and typically requests are honored,
BUT
depending on the number of players per team, they may not be. But we will do our best to make your child's baseball experience an enjoyable one!
This division is also ALL about having fun and developing a love for the game of baseball in EVERY player!

"AA" DIVISION (7 - 8 yr. olds)
(Oceanside american - island park)
The "AA" division is for 7 yr. olds who have played "A" ball and all 8yr. olds. Regular hard balls are used in this division. Players begin to pitch in this division and EVERY player who wishes to pitch WILL be given that opportunity. Games will have 1 OALL umpire to make all calls. It is a continuous batting order and outs are recorded. Games are limited to 2 hours. Teams do NOT keep score. Defensively, players MUST be rotated. Most games are played at School #8, School #2, Shell Creek Park or Oceanside Park#4. Typically there are 2 games scheduled each week. Teams will be formed using a SOFT draft where those players who are identified as potential pitchers will be spread out amongst the teams. Requests can be made to be on teams with other players or coaches, and typically requests are honored,

depending on the number of players per team, they may not be.
This division is also ALL about having fun and developing a love for the game of baseball in EVERY player!

"AAA" DIVISION (Formerly OALL "AAAJR") - (9 - 10 yr. olds)
(Oceanside american - oceanside national - island park)
The "AAA" division is for all 9 yr. olds and 10 yr. olds who are not drafted into the "Coast" division. Regular hard balls are used in this division. This is considered a competitive division, which means scores & standings are kept, there is a playoff format at the end of the season culminating into a single World Series game. It is a continuous batting order. Games are limited to 2 hours. Defensively, there is free substitution with a minimum of 3 innings played in the field. Most games are played at School #8, Oceanside Park#2, Shell Creek Park or Oceanside Park#4. Typically there are 2 games scheduled each week. Teams will be formed using a FULL snakes round draft process. No Asst. coaches or players are protected except for the Manager's son who will be placed in the appropriate round based on his ability. All games will have 1 official umpire to make all calls. All games will be supervised.

"COAST" DIVISION (Formerly OALL "AAA") - (10 - 11 yr. olds)
(Oceanside american - oceanside national - island park)
The "COAST" division is for all 10yr. olds who are drafted and 11 yr. olds who are not drafted into the "Majors" division. This is considered a competitive division, which means scores & standings are kept, there is a playoff format at the end of the season culminating into a single World Series game. It is a continuous batting order. Games are limited to 2 hours and are 6 innings long. Defensively, there is free substitution with a minimum of 3 innings played in the field. Most games are played at School #8, Oceanside Park#2, Wrights Field, Shell Creek Park or Oceanside Park#4. Typically there are 2 games scheduled each week. Teams will be formed using a FULL snakes round draft process. No Asst. coaches or players are protected except for the Manager's son who will be placed in the appropriate round based on his ability. All games will have 1 official umpire to make all calls. All games will be supervised.

"MAJORS" DIVISION - (11 - 12 yr. olds)
(Oceanside american - oceanside national - island park)
The "MAJORS" division is for all 12yr. olds and 11 yr. olds who are drafted into the "Majors" division. This is considered a competitive division, which means scores & standings are kept, there is a playoff format at the end of the season culminating into a 2 out of 3 World Series. Teams bat 9 players using specific substitution rules, with a player's minimum of 3 innings. Games are limited to 2 hours and are 6 innings long. Most games are played at Oceanside Park#2, Shell Creek Park or Wrights Field. Typically there are 2 games scheduled each week. Teams will be formed using a FULL snakes round draft process. No Asst. coaches or players are protected except for the Manager's son who will be placed in the appropriate round based on his ability. All games will have 1 official umpire to make all calls. All games will be supervised.

"JUNIORS" DIVISION - (13 - 14 yr. olds)
(DISTRICT 30 BASEBALL - COMBINED WITH ONLL)
The "JUNIORS" division is for all 13 and 14 yr. olds. Play is on a full sized baseball field with 90' bases. Regular District 30 baseball rules apply. Teams will travel to towns within District 30. Games have 2 umpires. There is a District playoff format at season's end.

"SENIORS" DIVISION - (15 - 16 yr. olds)
(DISTRICT 30 BASEBALL - COMBINED WITH ONLL)
The "JUNIORS" division is for all 15 and 16 yr. olds. Play is on a full sized baseball field with 90' bases. Regular District 30 baseball rules apply. Teams will travel to towns within District 30. Games have 2 umpires. There is a District playoff format at season's end.
